New report has been buzzing up the online world and gadget fans worldwide since the last Wednesday. And yes, this is all about the iPhone 5 release date that is still a mystery. The new report came from the famous online gadget portal, DigiTimes as they released their latest information about Pegatron that will start to ship iPhone 5 handsets toward the Apple base in the next September. According to their source, Pegatron will be the second Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) for the next iPhone, with approximately 10 millions of iPhone 5 handsets order.
Also from the report they released, we learned that the shipping will be started early in the September and Pegatron will try to generate more earning by having partnered with Apple. If we look back to the fact that how Pegatron always come with relatively small margin from the iPhone previous handset, and their new plan to increase income from the new partnership should be reasonable though. They’ve arranged everything for the upcoming iPhone 5 release including training their staffs to get some more from iPad and MacBook manufacturing business. While in other hand, Foxconn as the primary manufacturer started to work with Apple to ensure their partnership is strong and they’ll still be Apple’s primary manufacturer.
This is not the first time for rumor related to Pegatron released by DigiTimes. Just a week earlier, the site has also reported about how Pegatron has claimed to get Apple’s order for 15 millions of iPhone 5 units, while the later report reduced the amount to 10 millions only due to the recall for the remained number.
As well know that as we steps closer to the real iPhone 5 release date, rumors and reports appeared everywhere. Some may be actual reports while some others could be a fake. Take example of the one from Canadian carrier, Telus whom reported that iPhone 5 launch date will be around the October this year, which surely is contrary to China Times that believe the iPhone 5 release in USA will be started in September.
And with that so many of buzzes and rumors related to the release date of iPhone 5, Apple is still in silent mode and is not intended to make any clarifications over these rumors buzzing around the online community. While Apple’s insider won’t intended to clarify anything, and so with this new report about Pegatron, there is no Apple’s official statements may either approve or decline the issue.
